Blue Crew coming down the tracks

Is something very, very special happening with the Blue Crew? It seems like they are like Jake & Elwood, on a mission from God and they will not be denied. The O's are a good team, but that neither mattered or intimidated last night. Whatever they needed, somebody stepped up and provided.

Can't wait for this afternoon. Let's go ROYALS!

2-0, Baby!
Nice to see all the so called "expert" commentators go slack jawed by the Royals performance!

Back to KC for Game 3! Let's go ROYALS!

Holy Balls!!!!! I have never been so excited/nervous watching the Royals in my life. I'm watching at home and find myself standing from about the 5th inning on in every game. I think my family thinks I'm nuts! Every game is a nail biter and always comes down to the end. They sure aren't setting any records for a quick finish to a game that's for sure. In all my life of watching Royals I can't ever remember them playing anywhere close to this level. The Royals I remember basicly my whole life would have found a way to lose every one of their playoff games they have won. Just unbelievable!!!!!!!

GO BLUE!!!!!!!!

I've even gotten my wife in on it now. I started watching the game at work, and when I clocked out at 6, I turned the radio on in the pickup and hauled ash home to finish watching. The wife rushed home from work at 7, all worked up about it as well.

This is absolutely the best baseball I've ever seen in my life. Didja hear that the other night when they won that the entire team dropped over $16,000 at McFadden's bar? That included a $1,000 tip for the bartenders. Those boys love their fans!

Yep!! I've spent a little cash at that place but not near that much!

Scored a ticket to game one Tuesday!!!! Guy that comes out hunting for past 50 years has season tickets so I supose they get first dibs. He called and said he had a ticket for me and wanted to know what night I was coming. Yippee!!

Last night was friggin amazing! Royals baseball at its finest! Win, lose, or draw tonight, the Royals proved last night that they belong in the WS without question! Now, the stars are lining up eerily like they did in 85....hope they get it done tonight! Let's go Royals!

FWIW, seats right behind home plate tonight are going for a paltry $11,500. But the best seat is my recliner in front of the high def big screen...and the price is right, too! :D

I'm a Twins fan but I've been cheering for the Royals since the playoffs started. It's great to see the small market teams take down the big boys.

Going to game one was crazy. Before game and the pregame they had that huge flag and the fly over gave a guy goose bumps!! To bad there wasn't much to cheer for after the three run first. It was great experience even though they lost. Here's hoping its a good game tonight! GO ROYALS!!!

a guy I know has a suite, said I am on the short list ..... hope I make the cut !!

Jigsy ya know I like ya and pull for the cats but I don't think it has anything to do with going to the game is the reason you're on the "Short" list.

What a great run for the Royals. I have been a huge Royals fan my whole life and watched tons of games and listened to even more on the radio. Even though it was the best run the Royals had since I was 5 years old I can't remember any sadder loss or end of the season than last night so close. Definitely have to give credit to Bumgardner what a great postseason run for him as well. What an awesome season can't wait to see what kind of team they put together for next year!!

The self destruction has begun. Billy Butler, aka Country Breakfast is now a free agent. I hope he'll take a pay cut and stay in KC, but I doubt it. Rumor has it that Aoki and Infante will soon go down the road as well. The genius broadcasters kept claiming that Shields would never wear a Royals uniform again, but his WS performance was less than stellar, IMO, so who knows? I don't think I can wait another 29 years for this to happen again. The call from my home office will probably come before then.

Billy butler isn't worth near 12.5 million club option the way he's played last couple years. Aoki is replaceable he is streaky at the plate and a defensive liability. They just signed infante last offseason he is having shoulder problems so let's hope they get that fixed. Shields will get a big offer from somebody. His postseason wasn't spectacular but he had thrown a crap load of pitches this year. At his age he will not be worth resigning for the royals for the money he's going to get. Let's hope some of the younger prospects can come up and get it done like Ventura did this year. I wouldn't mind if they tried to trade moustakis maybe cash in a little off his postseason success. I think this next year is the last in Wade Davis contract and heard they might try to shop him in a trade cause they won't be able to afford him when his contract is up. I would be ok with that if they could get somebody that consistantly hit 35 homers. Duffy will be back in the rotation next year and he's a really good pitcher himself so I think they will be ok.

I'll go along with Butler being overpaid, and Aoki & Infante being sketchy at times. I do think Big Game James will go somewhere else for a pile of dough. I don't like the thought of Moose getting traded. Seems like Moose, Hosmer, Caine, Gordo, and Salvy were the real life blood of this team. Keep them and build a new team around them.

Maybe your right, but I don't think somebody that has to get sent down to triple a during the year and only bat 212 for the season does much for the team. Maybe an expensive cheerleader.
