Border Collie in classifieds

Hello all!

If you could help me out here, I'd sure appreciate it. I posted an ad in the dog section of the classifieds (and cannot get the link to copy for the life of me). I have a 2 year-old male that needs a new home ASAP. He's free and he's super nice to be around with people...he just thinks he rules the roost with our other male. And the other one has been here the longest, so he stays!

He's the only free border collie over there, so if you know of anyone that needs a helper or just a friend and would put the bug in their ear, that would be great!

How old is he and does he work cattle? Or is he mainly a
friend? Can you post a picture of him? That would be helpful.

Were fresh out of dogs here my Jess dog has been gone about 12 days now. Pretty sure she's not coming back. I don't care for male dog's it's a tire thing ticks me off when they urinate on everything they can lift their leg for.

I agree Denny. This dog we have now is the first male we've had in
40 years. And I wish he was a female.

Post some pics, and describe the the dog a little more. Cattle exp or been around horses or ranch animals ? What has this BC been doing these last 2 yrs? I'm looking for a good dog right now. Where in SD are you located.

Thanks for the replies! My email has been down for the last 2 weeks, so I will try to get through it this evening. His "owner" called 2 days ago and said that she thinks (key word there) she has a home for him. But, I'll give you as much as I know in case it doesn't pan out.

Husband had been working him when he can. He says he'll work, but is still "green". I'm a horse person, so that's the best I can describe. We have an older male that is the king turd around our place, and they have a dominance problem, so this guy has to go. His name is Deuce. I don't know if he's done anything the last 2 years, but he's not a yapper and is very friendly. He does water the tires on a daily/hourly basis though.

Now, if I can figure out how to post some pics, I'll be in good shape!
