In an effort to move my operation in an ever diversified direction, I recently purchased a Red Angus cow out of the 5L sale this week. That brings the breeds to Angus, Red Angus, Maine X, and Shorthorn. Surely I can find one market to hit a home run in.

Here's a link to her video and pedigree. I know exactly what I do and do not like about this female, but I think her genetics and kind will fit well in making the sort of seed-stock I can sell. I figured it was about time for an update from MYT.

I approve. FWIW :D

Here is one reason why:

Besides Dixie Erica of CH 1019 being one good rip, there are lots of fine
breeding on that side of her pedigree.

Not sure you will get all red calves out of her tho.

When will she calve and what is she bred to?

She's safe in calf to a multi-sire group, and is due the end of March. I know at least she's bred to a red bull, so fingers crossed for a red baby.

Red breeds true. If she is bred to a RED Angus bull, her calf will ALWAYS be a red, doesn't matter how many black animals are in her pedigree.
