Well, I sold some cattle and bought myself a truck!

Its a 1987 Chevy Silverado with a 6.2. I paid 2500. The box is broken and so is the passenger side fuel tank so I'm putting a fuel tank from another truck we have on it and building a flatdeck with removeable side pannels. And a Chrome pipe headache rack if I get around to it. But my question is this.

Would a Newholland Yellow (Like on the CR combines) truck with a black flatdeck look good with big chrome stacks?

Congratulations to a "new to me" truck owner!

I'm not sure if it would look good or not but you could always call it the "Killer Bee".

Well Kiddo, unless you drive it better then the last one,I'm gonna do nothing but worry about you......

We are the proud owners of an 86 Chev, which also has a rusted out gas tank on the passenger side.  :D :D :D Other than that, it's been a heck of a truck. We bought it new, and have owned it for 21 years now. We shall drive it till it dissolves! But not out on a fancy night on the town though. :D :D :D

Hope you get some good miles out of yours too. 8) 8) 8) Drive careful. :D :D :D :D

I bought a 2002 C-6500 GMC for my welding rig. In it's former life it was a Penske rental truck.

The yellow cab with black work-bed and tool boxes, combined with LED lights and D.O.T. tape sure makes it stand out.

My cows know it coming down the road also:)

We had an 85, same thing, rusted out gas tank on passenger side. When we first bought it, it was our going-to-town truck. But as it got older, it was demoted to the field truck. Ran for years as the body slowly fell off in pieces and the tires kept going flat. Finally loaded it up this spring and hauled it for scrap. I actually felt guilty ending it's long faithfull life that way.

those WERE good truck's, hope this one still has some life left for you

the color scheme should stand out and draw attention, including that of the poooolice. not sure if that's what you want.

good luck and drive safe
