drizzled enough around here to make me quit my tank cleaning, too slick,so back to cuttin firewood and waiting on this little squall thats suppose to blow thru, build me a nice fire and beef stew.
good luck

This little tank dont look like much bone dry,but it is about half way up a small hill, solid rock for a spillway and crystal clear most years as its spring fed, sure a good watering source,I have a deer blind about 50 yards on the east side, always a pleasure to sit in solitude watching that little tank and wildlife.............hope it can be again.
good luck

I got beef stew goin for supper too.

It's still warm here. 70 degrees. But sposta cool off tonight. Fire buildin weather. Guess I should go get some wood in, before it rains and gets it too wet to burn.

Around here we call them stock ponds or dugouts.Tank's are made of metal or rubber and are filled by a hydrant or pump,Funny how the names change for item's with region's.

I was thinking about you yesterday..............that crust busted thru in about the middle, and down she went, had to walk back to the house and get a 4 wheel drive tractor to pull it out.
good luck

PS Was gonna take a picture or 2 but i knew you would remind me..........what goes around ,comes around.
