Does anyone use/have the poly mineral feeders made by Brower in Iowa? Looks like a good product, trying to get a farm supply dealer to get a pallet so I can get a couple. The freight is the same weather you buy 2 or 7.

I've also had another product catch my eye. The Fly Killer Kover, looks like a great idea, they just need to bring the price down. Anyone tried that out?

If this is the unit you are talking about ....

I will put it to you this way I can't tell you about them from personal experience yet but I have heard enough good things about that style of feeder than I will be buying some brand of them as soon as I need to replace one of my current mineral feeders.. Everyone that uses that style of mineral feeder really talks good about them around here. The only negative thing I can tell you about them is to make sure that the flap on top is one piece that is layers and not little chunks formed together. A friend of mine was cussing one that it didn't last and they had to replace it with one of the flaps (disks) that were layered together. Sorry I'm not more help but just passing on what I have heard....

That's the one, I bought 3 of them yesterday off of ebay, shipped direct from factory. I got hosed on the freight. $148 for the feeders (each) and $205 for the freight. The brower add claims to be more durable then other copy-cat brands. By the way, the shipping cost was like $105 for one and $205 for 2-7 (on a pallet). I tried waiting until the North East Livestock Expo last weekend to see if there was anything up there, I tried getting a farm supply distributor to order a pallet, kept saying he would was going to get right to it but after a full week and not calling back I said screw it and ordered online.

There's another product I came across that looks really good called The Fly Killer Kover. Has a felt backing on the rubber flap and a resivoir for insecticide. Animals get treated when they use the feeder. The price is a big steep but maybe I'll upgrade my Brower feeders in the future with their cover.
