He rode real good-they just had yearling steers and heifers there which were quite a bit smaller than he's used too. The Johanson's put on a good deal for sure. He got hung up on his last one before the jackpot and got the back of his neck stepped on so the medic wouldn't let him ride for the buckle wasn't a happy camper lol. He's the only kid that rides one handed so he did o.k-he likes bigger cattle though. They sold a used set of three bucking chutes for 10,500 in Carbon, Alta. on Saturday how crazy is that. Not sure if we'll make that school in Mossbank or not but we'll try.

Yeah that's what he rides in the CCA and they do tend to buck you far enough away to get off safe-those little yearlings just tend to run off. They usually ride two year old bulls in most deals they go to sometimes an older bull thats not too harsh. He rides horses right now with his bull rope to practice gets kind of fun at times lol.

Thank You for asking Soapweed-not sure if the lasting pains are from that wreck or some previous ones lol.
We watched on tv PBR in Colorado Springs the other evening when Moraes won. The hard one to watch was Chris Shivers climbing up on those bulls with an arm that was broken only a month ago. He was thrown repeatedly landing on the bad arm, had to be carried out of the ring but hobbled back to attempt the unseating of Moraes but was trampled rather badly by the bull. We were wondering what sort of shape his poor body will be in the rest of his life after all his bull riding days and injuries are over.
