I think it went pretty good for what I saw. I didn't watch any of the black bulls sell. And watched only 20 or so red ones few 10,000 dollar bulls and several between 6 and 10 thousand. Must be a big time opperation they had 8 hours on rfdtv. They were also selling horses while the red bulls were selling he said
I wonder if our resident horse trader bought a horse there?

I happen to already have a few too many "bargain" horses on hand at the moment. And realization is slapping me in the face that a bargain is only a bargain if it doesn't eat.
Darn!
I'm almost as bad as you, Soap. Mr. FH won't let me go to a horse sale for
quite awhile...

We just don't use horses like we used to in our younger days. It sure was fun getting and trying new horses...so I understand your
bargain buying and also the eating part.
We have a bad day coming tomorrow. We have to put a crippled horse down.

The vets helper is coming tomorrow cuz they have been so busy
during the week. We've taken this horse to several vets and stuck a bunch
of money in him and he's just....crippled.

And has been for 3-4 years
and he is getting worse. When it turned off cold, he wouldn't get up when the other horses came into the corral and Mr. FH noticed it. So he coaxed him up with some grain and he
could hardly walk when he got up. He got better as the day progressed, but
he's very crippled in the right hind leg. We've had that injected, but he is
getting bone change now from the arthritis. He's not all that old, just 12, but
we don't want him to suffer during the winter, so this is the kindest thing
we can do for him. Not looking forward to it tho.
