We turned out bulls the first of August.

These are three of our purchased bulls. The one in the middle is a Top Gun son, he is purebred Simmental. The other two are purebred Red Angus.

One of my favorites out of Red Ceasar

The group I put that mixed group out with was one that had quite a few cows that were related to the home raised bulls. I intended to put two Simmental bulls with the group but when we tested them one had some damaged equipment. The other two are not as aggressive as I like to see our bulls so I wanted to make sure I had enough bulls to cover everything in this pasture.

What would you guess that bull weighs that you called Dakota copper son, the one by himself. He looks stout.

If I had to make a living as an order buyer I would probably be fired the first day. I am lucky to guess weights within 500 lbs on calves, on grown animals it would just be a WAG. I am pretty certain that the Red Ceasar sons would be heavier because they carry even more weight in their hind quarters than that DC son does.
