These guys have 65 days to go before we sell them should be plenty in the 1300# plus range by then and they will be 12.5 months of age.

This is the biggest in the pen he weighed 990#s on jan 3rd should check weigh him bet hes 1300#s now born 4-23-14 Well he weighed 1250#s today so a bit off my guess Chisum x occ Glory

This bull weighs in at 1135# today 10 1/2 months of age Chisum x Bushwacker

Pretty Happy with them Hopefully they will be well recieved by the public.

Is that right you selling em in Mandan? I will try to wate but its hard to sit on my hands that long.

Thanks for your compliments everyone . Yes they will be in the " Diamond Classic" All breed bull sale Sat. May 9th@Kist Livestock Mandan ND Just think by waiting you'll save feed and make some money on interest a win win..

These bulls will be vaccinated, semen checked and ultra sounded hope everyone can find the time to take a peek at them.

Thanks Denny I will be there. I hope the sale goes real good for you. I might not get any but I will bid.

Look me up I'd like to meet you. I would bet they won't get out of hand on price but who knows.

Every year I order a bull to be delivered in a new 20' stock trailer custom made by Denny. And every year he keeps telling me he will do it if I send him money! :) The bulls look really good Denny. Thick rascals! Hope they sell great for ya.

Yes Denny those bulls are coming along nicely, nice to see bulls being raised right.

Check weighed them today top bull weighs 1250#s born 4/23/14 bottom bull weighs 880#s he hurt his leg fighting about 6 weeks ago so I'm sure his poor performance was partly due to that either way they should weigh 1100 to 1500#s by saleday with the Oldest calves at 13 months and youngest at 11 months on May 9th. It feels good to have this ration stuff figured out. As Jack my feed man says I'll do the ration and you feed it. Of course I get to pay for it but a Great Big Thank You goes out to Jack and everyone at JR Feeds.

Dont wish him to much luck leanin H I would like to buy some. LOL Denny would any of em work on heifers?

I figured that out the other night and about 22 of the 32 were selling are heifer bulls Most of the Chisum and one Bandwagon I feel are cow bulls when we AI'ed we bred for calveing ease bulls with my thinking this spring there would be a need for heifer bulls.I have 34 bulls and am going to retain 2 I just don't know which 2 it changes each day.Our cowherd carries quite a bit of bred in calveing ease on the dam side in my opinion calveing ease bulls need to be bred from both the sire and the dam other wise I feel you get one each and a inbetween.

I agree with you on heifer bulls, Denny. You can't just select a surefire heifer bull because the individual has a low bw. It would work better to pick a bull with a higher bw but from a family of low bw than to do the reverse. I read in some catalogs what the seller designates as heifer bulls and I know they wouldn't work for us as heifer bulls. You need to dig deeper than individual bw.
