Thought I'd share some pictures.

It's still freezing at night fairly often but the fields are turning green anyway.

Simply beautiful .I would give my right knee to see a scene like that.We don't see that down here south La.

Your cattle look good. The meadows are the right color, but that creek isn't as high and muddy as I would expect for this time of year. Is the wind just evaporating the snow?

I think this has been about the coldest, windiest spring I remember. The grass has got to be a least 2-3 weeks behind. It snowed here about 10 days ago and we've had nights it's got down in the low 20's. The creek in the picture is just a small one but I do think the wind has taken a lot of moisture away. Anywhere there isn't irigation water it's very dry right now, we could sure use some rain. How is it out your way?

We are real dry. I am still feeding cake. I wish I had some more hay, but am too cheap to buy it. The cattle are holding up good though.

where are you going when you pass on ned?.. looks like your in heaven already

Thanks. I hope heaven is a lot like this. Except I hope the wind never blows and it never gets below zero in heaven. And if we could have a nice rain every afternoon and nothing ever broke down. :)

I do have a lot to be grateful for. Thanks again.

Great pics as usual Ned. Looks like a fun weekend indeed with the four-wheelers. We bought a Kawasaki Mule, and it's more work than play. Don't go too fast, but sure is handy.

I think that was the first time I used my Arctic Cat Prowler for play. They are handy. I've broadcast seeded with mine, fixed fence, hauled minerals, and lately I've been spraying weeds with a 45 gal. pull type sprayer. It amazes me the hills it can climb and the creeks it can cross. I crossed a creek the other day and the water came well over the floor board. The current was taking me down stream but it kept on going. It goes around 50 mph. Arctic Cat is coming out with one that has a 1000cc engine in it. It's supposed to go over 100 mph.
