You could call him "Rudolph."

Then one foggy Texas eve
Hay Maker came to say
Rudolph with your spots so bright
Won't you guard my hay tonight?

Then all the other calves loved him
as they shouted out with glee,
Rudolph, our colorful hero,
you'll go down in hay history! :-)

It's gettin' late, and I'm gettin' sleepy.
Please forgive me.
It is with deep regret that I went ahead and hit "submit."

Oh Lilly,,,how can you stand all that green???? lol I noticed though that yur calves still are kind of furry,,and the cows haven't quite shed off completely,,,ours are still keeping their heavy winter coats handy just in case we get some cool nites yet...which is very likely! Even though my lawn is turning green, there's a hint of green in the meadows...I can't wait till we're as green as you...heck we'll be just gitten rid of the snow, and you'll be putting up hay! Yur camera sure takes clear pics of them flowers...I can almost smell em! Thanks

Yeah I've always wondered why our calves get so much winter hair....conciderin that we have mild winters compared to some.

Oh and man you should see the horses...it's a daily ritual around here right now...get em up, tie em to the trailer, and brush em, or curry them...they are sheddin bigtime.
