calf warmer

I prefer the sun and later spring temps but when they won't co-operate the wood stove in the basement has warmed a bunch over the years. Debbie is looking forward to using the new shop this year. :lol:

but you don't get any sunlight for 2 more months :shock:

Not calving for nearly 2 more months either. :wink:

A few years back, think my daughter was about 12, I put a calf on a sled and asked her to take back to barn to warm up while I dealt with something else. When I came into barn, she had wrapped calf in an insulated loggers jacket and had a hair dryer shooting warm air up the sleeve. Worked great......she always seems to think outside the"box".......
