Calling Alberta

I'd say it's more like spitting sleet than snow, but yes, I do believe it's coming to get ya!

We had a mini blizzard here last night for about 30 minutes. Got an inch of snow and couldn't see the barn 250 yards away for most of it.

-22C this morning. Had 6 heifers calve overnight, all but one were tenants in the barn this morning. Clear first thing and no wind until about 10 AM. We've had wind and flurries most of the day since then.

I'll gladly send it on east.

Thanks for the heads up, I think.

Where abouts are you?

I'm about an hour west of Lloydminster, so not too close to you. But I still don't think you're safe!!! :)

I had 6-8 inches of wet snow along with 50-60 km winds starting midnight last night and ending about 3pm. Very ugly roads here and it is going to get sloppy very quickly here. Most of my pens and hay yard have a foot of wet snow overtop 3 inches of mud right now

North west wind with mixed rain and snow. Turning white but not much accumulation. The road was a layer of ice on my last cow check. Nice and warm temperate climate in the house.

We only got a little skiff, which is fine by me because we are at the point where we can finally see the top of the stubble in the fields. Don't need more now. Rain would be fine, damn tired of snow. At least the grass will grow this year. Going to be a lot of it under water for a while though.
