Hockey fans or not you have probably the best world jr. team you've ever iced going up against Canada for the gold medal tonight. It could be a game for the ages-the last two were. Hopefully you can find it on ESPN-your athletes deserve the support I know all of Canada will be tuned in. Wrong forum but wanted the most people to see it.

I was thinking the same thing NR, it would be a shame for those American boys not to have everyone at home tuned in to watch. That is one hell of a team they have there and it didn't happen by accident. I hope all you Yanks find a way to watch your boys do their thing.
 
you almost have me interested :shock: :o i checked the guide and they aren't showing anything about it on the ESPNs. oh well, i tried :wink: let me know how it turns out.
 
Folks down here would rather watch stinking soccer or golf so hockey is pretty tough to find on TV. The NHL is on a few times a year and the the Stanley Cup and thats it! :mad: Wish I could see the game! :cry:
 
Well that's a crying shame, you would think someone in t.v. world would give a damn that their boys are going for an ACTUAL world championship. Heck, in this country every world championship of any kind short of gold panning that involves a Canadian gets air time.
 
Well ice sports aint ever been big in south Texas,more rodeo country,hell most of us dont even know there is an American team,but anyway since we are playin you canuckleheads and most probably will whip you pretty good,figger I might be able to see it online,watch the Dallas cowboys online when they arent televised,here are a couple links,if they arent on here maybe that will tell you sumthin :D :D :D

We dont like yankees around here,whats the name of the hockey teams that are playin tonite,someone around here starts talkin bout hockey we point him towards the outhouse :D

I think you can watch them on the computer if you have high speed. my dad watches all the games that way as they just have peasant vision. I am trying to talk them into getting basic cable as they will probably need it anyways to even watch the free TV soon.

Should definitely be a good game to watch.

My nephew played in a New Years hockey tournament in Houston last week. :-)
 
someday I would like to watch hockey with someone who knows the game and then I would maybe appreciate it but I haven't been able to figure out the rules so am always lost. Why is it one time a guy can skate all the way down and shoot the puck and the next time it is offsides or something?
 
ever notice a hockey team and a cheer leader squad from Arkansas have the same smiles??

I think hockey is like soccer on ice...lots of running around, and little scoring....

Well, whatever it is there's a good chance your country will be the world champs at it in a few hours, won by homegrown boys who've worked their tails of to get there.
