Cameras in Barn

Does anyone use cameras in the barn to monitor calving and other issues? If so, can you give me some information on the type and brand you use? Do the require wifi? I have wifi at my home but my barn is about 1/2 mile away. Can I monitor on my cell phone?

We are setting up a system the next couple of days. It came from River wind supply and our barn is a half mile from house. I will let you know how it goes.
