Most of you folks south of the Medicine Line may not be aware of the high octain anti-American ads that Paul Martin and his Liberals are running in the Canadian election campaign. Personally fingering Dubya as the root of all evil.
You can check out these disgusting commercials on the Liberal Party of Canada website.
Your ambassador David Wilkins has already warned our senour citizen prime minister that he's on a "slippery slope" when you start bad mouthing your friends and largest trading partner. Martin ignored him and dove deeper into the septic tank this week.
With R-Calf back in the border closing game do you think that Mike Johanns may not jump to the pump as fast this time around if Cebull cuts Canadian cattle imports?
Especially now that Canuck producers got the green light from a judge for their $20 billion class action against the ferderal government over it's botched ruminent feed ban.

Watchutalkinabout Mr. Waugh. BSE is all about sound science. Has nothing to do with the stellar politicians on either side of the border.

Martin's slippery slope has him sliding into "old folks" home base.

What do you get out or the class action thing Mr. Waugh?

The class action's kinda interesting, eh?
The guy running it was plenty cocky when I interviewed him the other day.
But contingency-fee lawyers always are going in. And he convinced Judge Winkler to throw it open to a full trial.
The Aussie feed company already appears to be running scared. On their last shareholders report they were hinting that their insurance companies had cut them loose.
I'm not sure how you get in on the deal, but I suspect there's a cash call or two down the road when the discoveries get rockin'.
The feds and the CFIA are going to plead that they can't be touched because it's policy not negligence.
Cuz if Albertans could sue for every dumb ass Liberal policy we'd be richer than we are right now. And we ain't doing too bad already.
Still $20 billion - which is what the producers who are part of the action are claiming - does clear yer head.
And there's a few miles of bad road before this thing get anywhere close to a courtroom.
Soon as Harper gets in he'll be sending the Edmonton troop of Southern Alberta Light Horse up your way to seize the correction line intersection. Be nice to them. They're just kids.
