Look what I found in the neighbors crop.

Here's looking at you-he might get a pointy stick launched at him in a day or so Ty has an archery blind about twenty yards from where he was bedded-there was another buck with him too.

While riding in the breaks last week, I kicked out a few nice mulies. One had to be at least 10 inches wider than his ears. Not real tall, but he was pretty! Of course, when they are in velvet, they always look so much more masive. But he was a nice wall hanger. Hope he gets to pass his gentics on. :-)

So, what are "gentics" and how do you pass them on? :???: :? Inquiring minds would like to know.

I love the color on your deer...Ours don't seem to get that dark till fall and winter...I don't know if the drought has anything to do with the way they look here either.

Here's a pretty nice doe with a fawn at the other end of the field-she's only about 10 yards from a treestand where Ty has filled a tag the last two opening mornings. We only take dry does this early in the season so she's pretty safe.

I've seen that big buck that we saw when you were here a couple of times. He is pretty nice. Had the camera the one time but it wasn't on ,I was driving and he didn't stand still/ Today he sky lined him self but we were cameraless.

Cameraless for shame. Here's a big old mulie I got within twenty yards of just before archery season-I couldn't find him during season though. I doubt he made the winter as he wasn't in real good shape heading into the rut.

Here's a big old hawg my neighbor shot about 3/4 of a mile straight east of where I took that pic. He was running with a big wide 6x6 but I never could catch him where I could shoot him. This deer was really heavy-I just know when I see this ladies number on my phone it's time to go help her load a big deer.
