Janice was recognized by the Master Farm Homakers Guild today. I have alway recognized her a a master homaker and an intergral part of this ranching operation, but it is an honor when others recognize that also. Soapweed and I were talking, and we acknowledged how essential our wives were in the operation of farm and family. Ladies, your really are appreciated

Congratulations, Janice, on a wonderful achievement. It is nice that you were recognized and given an award for all of your hard efforts. Shortgrass and I are both very lucky men to have great ladies by our sides with which to share life's experiences.

Your daughter is a fine looking lady, also, and I know she is a cowgirl at heart. It was fun last Sunday evening when you put your cellphone in the "speaker" mode, as she told her cattle handling adventures of the day.

Thanks for sharing, Shortgrass.

Is it how round she can make her husband that the judges look at in making thier pick for Master Home Maker?

The judges go on whether a potential "Master Home Maker" has a phat phriendly phellow phor a husband.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The term Phat may refer to:

An adjective mainly slang used in pop culture to express approval. Hence, someone or something that is phat could be cool, entertaining, intelligent, attractive or otherwise to be admired. When the word first surfaced in the 1960s, men generally used it to describe attractive, or "fine", women. This meaning of phat has been assigned numerous backronym meanings, most commonly Pretty, Hot And Tempting.

Thanks, Soapweed for clarifying phat for me. That sound lots better than fat. I was thinking along the same lines as Big Muddy. I hadn't realized the posibilities of Big Muddy's thinking, but, well who knows..............TTB, They did introduce a Jeanne Davies, so you are probably right.

Good job Mrs. Shortgrass!!! It's nice to know women are appreciated for what the do. You should be very of your achievements. :!:

I know the gal in the red, black and white checked blouse, she's with Colorado CattleWomen and she's writes good poems :D I won't mention her name, though.

I will mention Jody Davis. The cattle industry has benifited greatly through her efforts, and she is a character. She works hard and is active in many organizations. A great lady. Her parting words to us yesterday were "don't do anything that I wouldn't enjoy."
