And no arguments and everyone is so polite. Or could it be Massey and Arkansas haven't found this yet.

Oh man you must be new around here if that's what you think!
Yea a newb here been on CT for a little while. I haven't gone back thru a lot of your treads but what I've read so far seems like a good bunch of folks. We've always been farmers and made fun of the folks that called themselves ranchers in our area. So I figured I didn't fit the criteria for Ranchers

It's been quiet for some time, I guess some of us have learned to not be so vocal about their opinions.

Either that or we're just grumbling and pawing up dirt like some old range bulls until we see an opening.

They obviously haven't been to Political Bull yet. :D

Or Bull Session during the height of BSE when the Canadian's favorite pastime was playing Cowboys and Americans! :lol2: :lol2: :lol2:

Yeah- its kind of comical-- I ran into a couple of my good longtime neighbors to the north a couple weeks ago- and as we had a beer/toddy together that was one of the comments we were discussing was that we didn't even have any US/Canuck politics to argue over- as both countries now have so damn many border rules that its like traveling to/dealing with a foreign country.... Which for most of our dealings thru our lifetimes previously it wasn't...

Well now it appears that there must have been somekind of voodoo came over here with some new folks because the first line in the above quote is mine but the last paragraph was added by someone else!!

The bar has closed down on the east side of town for renovations, so all the drunks move to the saloon on the west side of town.

Each grabbing a chair along the outer walls, hoping the regular gang of patrons won't notice that a bunch of outsiders aren't drinking, but just biding their time and assessing the situation.

Soon they will both realize that they walk the same, talk the same and think the same....with exception to those rough-looking fellows from B.C. who are just plain nuts. :D

Oooooo....that was a shot!!!

And here I was holding back earlier with my post re: Iso spending too much money at the (cough, cough) Farm and Ranch store....Iso, were you and Caustic shopping together?

As for arguments...oh yes, Political Bull has had many and continues to do so. BUT many GOOD points made there.

AND "Quotes" on posts with the wrong names...happened yesterday to Whitewing over on Political Bull.

And i still say this place isn't the same without Northern Rancher. :(
