CFL....... Toronto to win the Cup

Lets be real TO needs to meet SK or BC and we'll see how good they really are. Bishop injury is confirmed broken wrist on throwing arm 6 - 8 weeks out so the season is essentially over for him. I am waiting to hear the score on the Sk/BC game a early battle for 1st in the west.I still say watch out for the peg in the east.Sk and BC in the west. Players i am watching Akili Smith so far seems to be all all flash and no fire after watching a bit is his arm strength not enough for the big CFL feild. Tommy Chang Ham. back up needs seasoning for those hamilton fans don't push to early or it will backfire. Maybe calgary can get rocky butler , nealon greene, danny mac or some other has been or never was to run the offence. I'm sure BC will deal them a QB LOL

Bishop is a stud! he can do unbelievable things on a ball field, he just is not the brightest bulb in the room!
 
I have only seen flashes with Bishop but i guess i need to see him more. As for the clash the lions whipped the butts of my riders last night they just got too cocky. The Sk d-fence did the job though BC QB Dickenson out with concussion for 4 to 5 games , BC 2nd string Qb Buck Pierce out for 2 wks min with pulled abs down to 3rd string but their 3rd stinger is better than some starters in the CFL. Oh well thats the CFL fast hard hitting wide open football.
 
Hmmm.........Mrs. Greg ......our Roughies got beat by a "GOOD TEAM".....that kinda leaves Calgary out or does giving up 96 points or so in two games not count! :P :P :P :P :P :P :P

Actually showing a CFL game tonight on comcast sports Chicago... Montreal vs Hamilton I think.. Too tired to watch, really.. Seem to have been running non stop for 3 days.
 
Sk riders won tonight 4&2 only team with a better record is BC the team they beat tonight. How are the stamps and argos doing i see the argos are down to 4th string QB former rider Rocky Butler believe me if he is going to be the argos pivot they are in big trouble. Maybe the stamps can find Nelon Greene .LMAO :D Oh well I can't help myself the riders are heart breakers and they look legit this year finally. I have put up with my share of ribbing about being a rider fan in the past. :lol:
 
It is just a change in philosophy Tillman is letting Austin run the team on the feild. Shivers and Barret :roll: Shivers knows talent but he always looks at the descrimination in his past and gives extra help to certain players who have had a tough time. I saw a biography on Shivers he basically came out and said he felt black players deserved more of a chance because of the racism they all have had to put up with in the US. :roll: And Danny seemed to play guys who went to church with him more than those who didn't. Funny how most of those guys are not with then riders anymore.Good riddens to those guys there is no room for that favoritism crap in a pro sports team. It is apparent with Austin as head coach if you don't play hard every down, you ride the pine as there is someone else who will do the job every down. His religious beliefs don't have anything to do with who plays.That sense of entitlement is gone as are Barret and Shivers. I see D-lineman Nate Davis was released from the bombers and is sniffing around the riders practice for a job. I guess the bombers figured out what his paycheck should be and their offer was a tad high. I wonder if he will take Tillmans free agent offer now? I find it funny how Nate Davis said he took the offer from Tillman as a insult and now he is looking for a contract. I wonder what he will have to do for Tillman to make an offer? I think Big Nate still has some game in him maybe just not a fulltime player anymore, too many injury problems father time is on his heels.
 
I have to admit Sask is doing really great,if both Sask and B.C keep this up the true Grey Gup may be played when these two play the western final,too bad that won't matter.

The truth is the season is 1/3 done everything can change, But if the riders keep it up they may pass BC and be 1st in the west. BC needs dickenson back but 4 concussions in 1 1/2 sesons i think he should think about retirement if he gets 1 more. Afterall what good is having a grey cup ring if you can remember winning it. And Pierce's so-called turf-toe ( it is called fractured ankle otherplaces) won't heal for a couple of games. So J. Jackson will have to carry the load, maybe they have to run the ball more early then they will have more sucess. Don't worry all the west teams will make the playoffs and the worst in the west will cross over to the east.

I watched the evening Cal va EDM game what a battle who doesn't want the win. Winners want the ball when the game is on the line. At the 1 yard line giving it to a 190 lb QB what was coach thinking, does he not have a full back or a lineman he can put an eligibile number on . All that was needed was some beef to move the pile. The coach lost that game for edmonton the win was there a yard way plain and simple.

:D We were camped down on River pasture with family....the guys were hunkered around a wind-up radio,passin the radio from guy to guy takin turns winding it up,greg was REALLY quiet around the rest of the Calgary fan brothers.
 
I don't think the western CFL teams have to worry, it looks like there will be a cross over teaminto the east playoffs. After watching the game i really wonder why EDM released mookie mitchell they seem to need recievers, as for smil'in hank you'd of thought he engineered the comeback of the century all by himself :roll: He was given a win he didn't have to take it. If EDM got the TD it would have been another loss.
 
Saw that the stamps lost to the AL's tonight. Maybe time to rethink Hank is the guy. maybe time to admit he isn't. He was here in Sask and he hasn't gotten better. Maybe try to get a proven winning Qb who isn't so adept at throwing interceptions. Oh, maybe kahari jones could come out of retirement or even give akili a shot at starting a game? Honestly i thought this would be more fun but it is just too easy.
 
The riders won again beat the argos . man i could get used to this. It a good feeling to have 2 Qb's that can start and neither is injured. The rest of the league is struggleing to find 1 real #1 Qb. Have fun rest of the CFL. And to think 3 other teams have the rider cast off Qb's starting and 1 riding pine. Personally I think Kevin Glenn in the peg is the best of the batch. I wonder if pinball regreting giving that Qb away? :lol:
 
Those Riders are infaltrating the "west",we were in Sylvan Lake for a couple days and downtown Sylvan has a sports bar that is all Rider pride :roll: :roll: . I think BMR's daughter is brainwashing the nice little innocent Alta. town

I would liek to say that I honestly Green is going all the way, but heaven knows we're gonne choke some time soon... I hope I'm wrong though!!!
