Chadron Poetry Gathering

[Been There]

The Chadron gathering was a fun deal, well planned and well run, with some good poets.
Wasn't many singers but Liz Masterson was an unexpected guest so she capably filled in on a couple open spots.
Baxter Black got a little long winded for a fellow who had to drive quite a ways to get home. It was just about 2:00 a.m. when I got to bed, then had to leave the next morning to go to Plainview.

How'd Plainview go?

Plainview went pretty good. There was a decent crowd, just not quite like a ranch audience, but most of them did laugh when they were supposed to.
I was in the process of getting a cold and was really hoarse so don't think I gave them a hundred percent. I've got a humdinger today.
