Cheyenne packing plant

Help Support Ranchers.net:

Cheyenne doesn't have the water, there a Koscher plant at Wheatland in the works.
there is a oil refinery that was out of Cheyenne that the town now surrounds, the Airport is surrounded by town.... of the Air Force base dosn't have a airport.

Wyoming beef is mixed in with beef from all over the US they said implying Wyoming beef is special. The truth is it'd be hard to tell Wyoming beef from Maine beef. There's differences in the way beef is processed or fed or some genetic differences but beef has no home state or inherently better quality because of a survey. I would much prefer Wyoming beef to Brazil beef . That's a different story

there are lot of USDA inspected plants in Wyoming that sell Wyoming beef, and ranchers that sell their Wyoming product. There are groups that export overseas too. Yes, lot goes out of state to feedlots then to the big for packers. But then Cheyenne is at the edge of the feedlots, so farther trucking, and like they said they don't have the water.
