Am using the CIDR fixed time 0-10 day program. I found online where it is not recommended to use on cows if they are less than 45 days post calving. It was on a news article and not the manufacturer. Does anyone know why? And what would be the implications of using on cows less than 45 days post calving?

Just providing time for the cow's reproductive tract to recover from gestation/calving. Many cows may not be cycling less than 45 days post calving.
