thanks,i actualy had the two top selling simmental bulls .both 3/4 brothers .lots of positive feedback as well.they both went to rose ranch replacing charolais.stu was up today and we branded them probably go to work on tuesday.as to where i,ve been ive been going constantly since we started calving dealing with cold weather issues then it was getting the bulls ready for williams lake this prolonged arctic conditions made things challenging

my third bull went to walt foster and my forth one is hangin at rodears already sold

If more breeders sorted off the bottom 25% like that there would be a lot better cattle in this old world. :wink:

well he sorted himself off because at 14 months he needed 34cm and after a swift kick with my size 15 boot he was only 31.2 ,where my others were 37.5 to 41.he was 1530 #and had gained 4#aday on feed my others averaged 3.5 .it was a bit of a shock to come home with a fat wallet and not have to worry about marketing bulls this spring .i see you bought 2 angus .were you there in person?

Ian bought the bulls for me, we were calving pretty hard about then.

I am looking forward to this sale, a rancher should be entitled to one good marketing decision in his life.

thats what i figured,i totaly agree with you on that one we are overdue in the luck department when it comes to selling weaned calves in this area.i think the industry would be better off if more calves were backgrounded at home,and sold at 700 #or heavier.of course not every body can or is willing to go that route
