Now that Truth Comes Out is in regular rotation on CMT, I've been trying to figure out some of the scenes they used.
There's Chief Mountain for sure. Although Napi looked like he was a little owly when they taped it.
And I think I saw the Burmis Tree in there. I guess that must be Lee's Creek Corbie's camped on 'cause it's in the song, right. Or maybe its Drywood.
But being a northern boy I don't get down to the Pass and the border country no more than a couple or three times a year. So a lot of those ridges I'm not too familiar with.
Nice touch having Corb pack an elk rifle in the opening shot. You don't get many firearms in country music videos these days.
The last one I recall where any serious fire power was present was Willy and Toby Keith's Whisky for My Friends and Beer for My Horses.
It was a lot easier to spot all those great Crowsnest Pass-Lundbreck-Longview scenes in Paul Brandt's Alberta Bound. I've been to pretty well of them. Including the jerky guy in Longview.
The same goes for Terry Clarke's A Little Gasoline.
No doubt about it, the south country is eye catching.

When I have CMT on I'm listening not watching...will have to do so for this one...Love Corby, hes the BEST.

Grew up South and don't even know the names your given out there Neil,I guess I just enjoyed the scenery and never educated myself on the names....now I really wish I would have.
