Ya no kidding,HATE Deerfoot!!We got a flat tire on our truck pullin a full horse trailer on Deerfoot once....Imagine that.....

We're thinking of goin Mon or Tues. If you get there my BIL adviced ...take a camera!!

Our hunting toys budget has been nonexistant lately-Ty and his buddy are trying to figure out how to buy some outfitter tags-we have so many guys want to come hunt bear with them. Would work good cause he'll be home from states just when the bear hunting really gets going.

we've got both Cabelas & Bass Pro within 50 miles of each other down here. Bass Pro seems to specialize in fishing (amazing observation here) & Cabelas in hunting and fishing. It (Cabelas) is about 3 times as large, with a great gun section. Bass Pro has guns (dang few) stuck in a corner upstairs. Both have great wildlife displays tho.............

Was gonna stop at bass pro on way home from calgary today but missed the turn off and it was about 6 miles or more out of the way to go on next turn off ..so maybe next time.. I saw one guy ahead of me miss the turn off too but i guess he was more dedicated than I am..he slamed on the brakes went through the ditch up an embankment through an other ditch and on to the road to bass pro ..

LOL....I was starting to feel that guys frustration....had thought of doin the same thing. You'd think they'd have an access road from the hwy straight to the store :???:

They could at least mark the turn off with some signage...I thought about doin the same thing as the other guy did but didnt want to give the wife a heart attack..or get a ticket..there was cops all over the Hi-way on the weekend
