During the Durkee fire in 2024 the head of our local RFPA called the imported head guy from the feds. Told him we could sure use those two extra Cats sitting down by your HQ. The head guy (from Virginia) told him there are no extra cats here. Turns out there are 2 D6 cats sitting on trailer there. The next day the head guy calls and apologizes. Says I didn't see them (how do you miss two D6 sitting on trucks?).. So that day they get moved to the little two track that leads up to where they are fighting fire. And there they sit parked on low bed trucks for two days. I am sure someone got paid for those two D6 Cats being there. About this time the head guy moved his HQ around to the far edge of the fire miles away. I don't think he liked the grieve the locals gave him over his poor management. When he moved so did those Cats sitting on the trucks.
