Hope this links up......just wondering if any of the Rancher's .net poets would be there?

Not me. They don't pay and I gave the milk away for a long time. Now they have to pay for it if I have to travel very far or at least I will pick and choose the ones I go to, where there is no pay.

Me and the mrs. are going to our grandson's first birthday party. :)

But I'll bet they have a good show. Baxter is awful funny!

I will be there, and they do pay Jinglebob, not a lot but it isn't all that far for me.
Had to turn down the motel room though because I have a gig, about as far east as Chadron is west, for the Plainview Arts Council the next day.
Never been to Plainview but I'd say it is likely getting to the edge of cowboy country.
We will probably listen to Baxter then head home.

Plainview is pretty firmly in farmer country, actually.
Shoot--they're east of the brand line!

But cowboy poetry is appreciated anyway. I'll bet you have a good crowd.

So far as Chadron, I've been to a lot of good programs in M-Hall, but I would trade them all to see Baxter Black's. 8)
