Yea the way the bench is looking at me with her eyes and saying "why didn't you just shut the garage door tighter?"
(I am talking about the dog, Joni, not you (Joni is my wife))

Looks like she may have got out more than once.... those pups look like they may have more than one dad.
Everything is looking pretty good out your way, thanks for the pics.

That's a real nice looking dog. Is she a working dog?
Is she natural bob-tailed? The pups appear to have long tails.
Are there any natural bobs in the bunch? I really like
natural bob tailed dogs, so I guess that is why I am asking.
I would take a guess that she is Australian Shepherd.
Show us more pictures as those puppies grow up, please.

 :lol2: :P

Cows look good ,your gal is a really pretty dog. I bet the pups will be gorgeous.

I think the reason the date is wrong may have something to with us in Saskatchewan never changing our time.

Justin , They are purebred Australian Shepherds , but the female is docked along with all the pups now. It is tough to find a natural bob Aussie. The first Aussie we got in '82 was a natural bob .

This is one of her pups from Oct. she is showing a lot of interest in working cattle.

Justin didn't ask about the bob tails...that was me...

I hafta tell you, those are some awesome and bright looking
Aussies--both the mother and the one born in Oct. are impressive
looking.

Can you make a guess as to what the males were (as, like Silver
said, they must have more than one sire)?

Do you normally raise purebreds? Do you sell any?

Thanks again.

FH, it is actually better to have an Aussie that has had it's tail docked than one that is born naturally that way. The incidence of hip problems and the like are significantly higher in the naturally bobbed dogs. Having said that, my dogs are natural

Sorry FH I am having a heck of a time with this post.

Yes we sell the pups. We have available two Red Merle females from the Oct. batch and these 8 new pups. The pups can be registered with ASCA.
There are some more pictures on our web site, but it looks like I need to update it though. http://www.muridale.com/aussies.html

Here is the reason for so much colour, the one and only male that pushed the garage door in when she was in heat.

Thanks for the info, Silver, I sure didn't realize that about bob-tailed
Aussies. I have always favored a bob-tailed dog for some unknown
reason. We haven't had many dogs with long tails, just some blue
heelers as we would never bob their tails. We had a natural bob-tailed
female years ago, that we were told was an English Shepherd. But she
had a bunch of pups that were the red merles, so maybe there was some Aussie in her as well. She was real coarse
haired, black and very shiny, beautiful dog, and not too big. We liked
her a lot. Our very best dog, that we don't even know what she was
was natural bob tailed. I'll have to post a picture of her. She looks
some like a black-mouthed cur. Tan with white ring around her
neck and some white on her legs. Very coars haired and tough
as a nut with no bark at cattle. The people we got her from raised them for over 40 years, but they forgot what they were :???: and just bred them for type whenever they found a male that they thought would work.
Those dogs were know far and wide as the "Birrer's Dogs" from the
Ruby Valley in Montana.

Thanks for the info on your dogs coyote. They sure are good looking dogs.

Okay, that's enough salesmanship already - you're waving crack in front of addicts - keep it up and I'll end up getting one on a back haul from Rkaiser's bull deliveries.(Not sure how we'll explain it mysteriously showing up at the house to the wife though)
