The sun is finally shinin in our part of Texas. And I've been able to go out and drive the pasture lookin at cows. Seems like ages since I've been able to do that LOL I took a few pics while out there. The cows and calves both are lookin good.

these first three cows, we sold their calves in April.

What is the funny looking spotted cow in the last pic? :D

LOL I seen that as it was downloadin, and thought to myself....lol folks are gonna wonder what kinda hereford/brangus cross that could be with them markins. hehe
That's a 25 year old mare that was given to us because the people that had her, basically had nothin but dirt. She was nothin but bones when we brought her home and wormed her and turned her out in the pasture. I'm perdy sure she thinks she's in heaven LOL I don't think I've seen her with her head up yet. Always down...eatin grass.

Cattle sure are in good shape Lilly, maybe now it will quit rainning long enough to get to hayin.
That black heifer aint muffin is it ? :D
good luck

Now that's some color! Rainbow of Cattle...I'll bet the cows were glad to see you too, not to mention the sunshine! Everything looks wonderful there...Wanna hear something weird? A horse we use to own was given back to us cause he is very old and the folks didn't want to mess with him anymore, so like you we've got him on grain and good grass and within a week he already looks like he'll fit in with the rest of the Geriatric Herd we have...Glad they called us though, cause I know you and I just can't let them old horses not have some good days left...

I sureeeee like that Brindle cow too.......I'd LOVE to make a rug outta her hide! She's not bad at all. I just think she'd make a perdy rug....either her....or our gray brindle cow "Ugly" LOL

I would much rather see them walking around like the lawn orniments they were made to be! :)
