At least down here we can take care of the predators in what ever fashion works best with out getting fined and or sent to jail. This is freedom. NO wolves and grizzly bears here but if they come we will take care of that pronto. No body from Washington D.C , New York and Califormia making the the rules here on my land. I get to make the rules here. I ranched in Wyoming before coming here. I know what it's all about. You have a great day and I just thought you might ought to hear what it's like for one happy loco gringo transplant. Here the boys still ask permission to visit my daughter and my boys have to get permission from the girls parents if they want to dance.

Ranchero, I spent two weeks in Mexico in 2001 with a ranch family, when all of the issues were still fresh about the Mexican cattle coming across the border. That case was never justified, and I still can't figure out why most of my American friends feel that the cattle from Mexico are a threat to the US cattle industry. The ranching families I met while in Mexico, are some of the best ranchers, i've known. Mexican ranchers have used US and Canadian genetics for a number of years now, that has changed there cattle. With the seasons being so different, I believe we could have a great relationship, for producers on both side of the border.

Best Regards
Ben Roberts
