Here are some crazy pictures from Canada on July 1st, 2009. Half way through the year and in the middle of the summer.
8.30 am - found this sheet of 1/4 inch thick ice in an upturned lid sitting on the deck this morning :shock: :shock:
Checked on the potatoes in the garden this afternoon - they look ready roasted
No wonder they call this the "great white north"
Unfortunately the potatoes were the only thing actually growing as the peas, carrots, parsnips and beetroot all failed to germinate due lack of moisture.
