Wish I'd have seen it sooner, coulda cut all my hay in 1/2 hour...

I actually got to see one of those in operation a few years ago. Big alfalfa farmer down in Kansas had one leased. Shoot maybe it ended up out at Jigs place.

Then you would need more land, and then you would need more cows, and then you would want a longer winter, and then when you had 500 acres cut in 20 minutes it would probably start raining...

That New Holland cutter would cut a lot of hay but they are rating the acres it can cut at 14 mph. I couldn't stay in the tractor seat at that speed. You would have to have really smooth fields to do that. Not very practical for this neck of the woods. Interesting mowers.

Very impressive. Definently need a smooth field. How many balers would you need to get it rolled up when it would be time to bale?

I know a guy who used one of them in Utah.....said that they ran this rig for 4 hours, then it took 10 hours for 7 Jaguar choppers and a fleet of trucks to pick up what this rig laid down...... at that time he said $480,000 to buy one.... I would kill to play with it for a while,

When I left Kansas in 07, Lincoln Farm Supply had a Class sitting there. Kejr Farms, out of Salina had tried it, but never bought it. I'm not sure where it ended up at. It was listed on Lincoln Farm Supply web site for a while.
It almost seems to me that Kejr's built something similar, using John Deere heads.

they have a couple big ones down there two weeks ago....but they were only 30 footers, not this monster..... those guys are nation wide!
