I don't know if this is set up or staged- or a true undercover video-- but I do know this is bad news to anyone involved in the cattle business just because its apparent it happened..

Its actions like this that causes overreaction in making laws....

The number one question that I've heard asked- and comes to my mind is where was the owner when this was happening? Or is this another absentee owner factory farm operation ?...

Oldtimer, This is just plain cruelty to animals that are helpless! If I was the law, I would put those people to hard labor for the rest of their lifetime. This is such a blackeye to livestock producers everywhere, it makes me sick to watch this video.

Ohio Animal Cruelty Case Escalates

Some 150 law enforcement officers from eight central Ohio counties converged on Conklin Dairy Farms Monday, this time to protect the owners, workers and property from threatened violence from animal rights groups.

The farm is at the epi-center of an animal abuse video, released early last week. One of the farm workers, Billy Jo Gregg, age 25, has been arrested with 12 counts of animal cruelty, all second degree misdemeanors. The animal abuse has been widely condemned by the dairy industry, both locally and nationally.

However, word spread virally last week that a massive protest was planned Monday (Memorial Day), with the radical Animal Liberation Front urging protesters to brings bats, crow bars, pitch forks and even weapons to use against the owners, workers and police.

While a handful of protesters did show up, no major incident occurred, reports NBC4i, the NBC affiliate in the area.
