Good Afternoon,

Well here it is time for another weeks weather post. This weeks topics (Drought/Severe Weather/Heat/Winds).

Drought: The drought conditions over Western SD/ND are not going to get much improvement over the next couple of weeks, there are a few t-storms pushing through for Monday/Tuesday, but this will only bring a little bit of the needed rainfall.
Severe: Looking for a line of severe storms to develop along the front for Monday-Tuesday, this should impact the Dakota's and into Nebraska as well, right now with the major heat flux between the warm side and the cold side, the threat for Large Hail and Wind Damage along with isolated tornadoes will be possible for this time frame.
Heat/Winds: This weekend we are going to turn on the wind machines and try to push up 30-40mph winds across parts of the Plains along with that will be the low dew-points will make conditions favorable for FIRE potential.

Thanks for the good news

It's dry out here, not much of a hay crop and the hills are looking dry.
I'm just west of the North Dakota.Montana line on the Canadian side of the border. It's a fairly big area that's dry. :cowboy: :?

We were in Rapid City (two hours west of home) most of the day. There were storm warnings with some hail and wind in the Black Hills to the west, north west of RC before we left town about 4PM. Still stormy looking clouds now that we are home to the west, south and northwest of us.

It is looking pretty dry in places, but some localized rain showers have it looking nice and green in areas. General and soaking rains sure would make things look better! And faces look happier!!!
