Damn rain!

We got between 2.5 and 3 inches of rain in short order last wednesday nite and now we are pounding post like spring. well almost, we don't need the pressure washer to drill the holes anyway.  :D

I'm happy to hear you are finally on the receiving end of sufficient rain Big Muddy. We could send you about three more inches that we have received since yesterday, and its still coming down.....

Are you very far from Raymond Alta. we sometimes feed cattle their but i think i will sell my yearlings rather then feed this year. Sort of grab the money and run .

BMr....we sold a few yearlings yesterday.....it's the best market we've seen since before BSE and producers are finally able to turn a profit. The only thing wrong is that we had to sell too many last spring to pay the bills!

We don't live near Raymond, but I did live there once. My dad worked there building Hiway 52 Feeders many years ago. We are west of Claresholm in the foothills

Yes Jingle we do use the gas powered pressure washer with the 0 degree red colored tip to dig post holes. We put a tank on the trailer plumbed down to hook a garden hose between it and the pressure washer and have the posts on behind or some sesmic flags cause in taller grass the holes are hard to find then we follow with the post pounder and drive them . Alot easier then using the crow bar and watering the hole if you have a bunch to do . Just make sure you go straight down with the wand or your posts go in on a slant. :cowboy:

DJL , we feed at Keelers at Raymond. I think that is west if Hiway 52 feeders but not far.
I got to fly over the Porqupine Hills once back in about '75 or '76. I spent the weekend at Orin Harts place as i went to college with Bill and John. I also knew some Laycrafts from down that way
