Well, almost. I have a Whitetail tag yet, but there just aren't very many Whitetails in the country. I shot a little 3X3 muley today. Bought a new scope, and jut got the rifle back on Tuesday of last week. Took it out on Wednesday and sighted it in. Today I killed my buck at 348 yards. I think that is the longest kill shot I have ever made.
Out of 9 hunters, we got 3 animals. 11 year old got a Whitetail doe opening morning. Dan got a weird, full velvet Muley, then I shot a baby. We are seeing very few deer this year.
 
Mule deer is closed here and whitetail goes on for a while yet.I saw some nice mule deer leave the ranch but no record book ones this year. Not alot of white tail in this area but a hunter staying here last week got a decent 5x5.

Neighbor kid posted on Face book that he watched a U.S hunter right on the border that took 13 shots at an elk. :roll:

We have a neighbor that hunts that way. This is the first year that he hasn't called saying he shot a buck, and it got over on us. I have watched them chase a deer, 4 pickups, with at least 2 people per vehicle. Slam on the brakes, and everyone bale out and start shooting. Sounds like world war 3, and the deer runs away. :mad:

I pride myself in not having to make more then 1 shot. This one took 2. I over compensated, and hit it in the spine. Had to put another bullet in it, but it was down, and dang sure not going anywhere.

A few minutes shooting at targets sure seems to me to be a whole bunch more ethical to me!! Its getting to the point where they almost need to have you shoot, before issuing a hunting license.
