Western Utah Desert
West desert of Utah about 15 miles east of Nevada line. Pretty plants. Buck brush in bloom. Smelled like heaven

Looking at the Deep Creek mnts. They straddle the state line.

4 wing salt brush. Surprisingly high in protein and a favorite winter feed of ungulates all over the desert. Pretty when it blooms too.

You misspelled fauna. The correct spelling is "a fawn". They have white spots this time of the year.
