He is a good dog, although some wouldn't like him as he isn't a speed dog. We are working with yearlings all the time, so that suits me fine, as they aren't there on a spa plan. Slow and steady works fine for me. He never goes fast enough to get in trouble, which I like, and he heels if I want him to or if he needs to, rather than causing a wreck just so he can fix it like some dogs do. He has a huge outrun, which my female figures she can cut down considerably so she can get there first, and does, but between the two of them they cover the area and don't miss anything. I couldn't do my job without them.
