It was really good. The camera men and announcer did an excellent job. There were some surprises along the way.
Some young cowboys and cowgirls gave the veterans a run for their money. Speaking of veterans, a WWII veteran sang the Star-Spangled Banner on a Friday performance and it was a standing ovation. He did a spine-tingling job.
All the performances were carried on the Cowboy Channel.
I didn't see anyone in the crowd I recognized.

I saw some of it when was in for lunch but we had to get a load of calves sorted off for sale so missed the afternoon part.

Dawson Hay won the saddle broncs. Jesse Brown won the steer wrestling. He is a local boy. His parents have a tire store in Baker City. I watched all of the final four. Missed the round of ten. Watched some of the earlier stuff.

Dawson was on fire in the round of ten, good to hear he won.

We only watched the Finals. Tilden Cooper won bareback again, for the second year in a row. A bull rider won HUGE, like $2 million dollars (to money). It showed three men bringing bank chests on stage with (supposedly) the $2 million in them totally. Each chest was marked Wells Fargo Bank.
Love to see Jackie Crawford win her $100,000 in Breakaway and Caleb Smidt win his $100,000 in Tie-Down.
