As bad as I have felt lately, I was braced for some real bad news. He said my bloodwork was good and my scands showed no new growth and lots of shrinkage. He's think the fealin bad and tirdness is either still sideafects fron the brain rad. Or need to adjust my thyroid med. More blood work will tell. God is good.

That's great news cowhunter, keep on sloggin' along, we're all pulling for you. It appears you're putting up a hell of a fight :D

God's Speed cowhunter! My grandpa had lymphoma and after the radiation & chemo had been finished for awhile he still felt real tired... turns out one of the side effects was anemia, an iron dietary supplement would have solved the problem. Ask your Doc if that's something to check for.

That's a great tip, Triangle Bar. Same thing happened to a lady I worked with. She went on all these so-called 'health diets' because of her cancer.
She finally felt so bad, she went to Mexico and they told her she was anemic and to go home, take iron supplements and eat all the
red meat she could. She did. She beat it. Had a bone marrow transplant
and she's alive and well. She had 2 kinds of cancer at the same time.

Thats good news cowhunter. I hope it continues to be good news :)

Hubby has stage 4 lung cancer. CT scan shows that the tumor has not shrunk with the 5 chemo treatments he's had. They have stopped the chemo. He had to have a blood transfusion last week. He see's his specialist on April 14 to see what to do next.

I have to take iron supplements too. As long as they tell me I can still buy green bananas I'm good to go. I have another Cat scan in na couple weeks-see if I get another chop chop and more chemo. Keep your chins up everybody.

I sure hate it for everybody else that is fightin cancer. Also, there caregivers and family. Its a tuff thing to fight and I'll keep all of yall in my thoughts and prayers. I'm also like nr. I have know quit. I think I'm goin back to texas to md anderson in houston. Everywhere else I've been is sure second rate compared the them or any other well known cancer center. The only reason I lift them was nrh was fixin to take me for the stemcell. But I'm tires of bein treated half ash. U go to this place and u can't hardly get a parkin spot, or get in there and set down.

Yes MD Anderson in Houston is the place to go. They are awesome there. And you are correct in sayin..parkin is a nightmare.....and there are so many people in there that you can't hardly get a seat in a waitin room. But the Dr's and all who work with them really are 1st rate at what they do.

I agree with the MD Anderson thing...We got a second opinion for our son from there...Dr. Akwak... ....

We just got the results back from the PET Scan...Our son is CANCER FREE!!!! :!: :!:
