Dog Lame

Really hope nothing happened to our dogs leg.
Husband was coming to bed on Christmas eve late and I got woke up by our dog yelping like crazy. Huisband accidently stepped on him in the dark.
He goes in Monday to get the staples out so we will find out then if any damage was done. I sure hope not.

Vet said everything is good and tight. Healing nicely.
He still wants to run, but not yet. He doesn't do too well on ice. Came around the corner to our sidewalk to go in the house (On 3 legs) hit the ice and it was almost a massive wreck. Didn't know he could work his fronts legs like that. No he didn't fall. The pups were behind us and hit the ice, one went left the other went right.
we all stayed in the snow after that.
The hair is growing back on his leg.

Was told no corgi race at the Corgis Gone Wild picnic. :( :(

Well..good for you.

My Little Fern we found out has some sort of issue that cause her growth plates to fuse early so she is the size of a 5 month old....and will stay that way.

But, for some reason it cause one front leg, the radius of that leg, to bow out and thus made one front leg a wee bit shorter than the other so she has a distinctive ' hop'. Corgi races, hole diggin' and creek runnin sure a blast but she's sore the next day.

Nothing really to be done about it....so she is a full time house dog due to that and that she never grew.

That's good. :D
Our 2 females are going in Wednesday to see the vet about getting spayed. They are still a little small, but their mother wasn't very big either.
It is so funny their different personalities.
I didn't realize it until later that my daughter named her dog, Amanda, after a friend of mine.
