Doing chores with horse's

Up until five years ago we fed with horses, first we were using a team and a hay rack, were using square bales then. Greg then bought a horse drivin round bale hauler, just used one horse with that.We just sold that a year or so ago.....I guess greg liked the warm bale truck better then ten layers of clothes, frozen eye lashes etc.He fed with horses for about 25 years.

I want to build a round bale hauler for feeding with horses, one that will let me roll them out as well, would you happen to have any pictures or know where I could see one.

Hmmmm,I'll look and see if we have any pics. Ours would roll them out,it had a handle that turned the bale as driving

Decker did you ever see the post Broke-cowboy wrote to you under your thread about feeding straw?? He wrote you a really informative post and took time out of serving our country to do it...read it its very good

sold my team about 5 years ago when I sold the selfpropled balers and balewagon, and replaced them with a round baler , a a spinner to feed with. Old pic but none on a disk, still a few teams here and the G&F feed thier elk with teams.

there's a pic of our round bale feeding rig on here somewhere but I can't remember the thread-I sold it last year-i want to rig up something on wheels to use.

You guys are out of my league on this one. But I know a neighbor who made a wheeled cart mounted a Briggs & straton engine and has hydraulics to lift up the bales and it is pulled with horses. He bought an old round baler at an auction for $25 and got most of the hydraulics and wheels off of it. I haven't seen it but he told me about it.
