So glad you came out of the situation relatively easily. We all know you and the rest of your family, and maybe even some of us, will be more careful because of your accident.
We have had two this spring. First our dau.-in-law tripped on a gate stop while letting some pairs out of the corral, breaking her arm just above the wrist. She is dealing with a cast for a while, so like me with a bad cold, can't help take of her grand, my great grand, babies so their mother can help the guys. Just days later, our son, and spouse of the lady with the broken arm, was trying to turn a heifer in the pasture and there apparently was some ice under the dirt, so his horse fell with him, breaking a big toe and hurting his knee, leaving some small abrasions on his face. He was lucky, at that, as all is healing well. And he is able to do most of his work, and doesn't really have to get on a horse till the toe heals as he is busy building a barn for us as well as helping with the calving.
Speaking of calving, have others had more backward presentations than usual? We sure have. Wonder if there is some reason/cause for that?
Take care and watch out for the unexpected during this extremely busy season, everyone.
