Took one of the stitches out myself today just to see what it's like. No problem until I showed my wife.

Wow.

I said no worries, there are still four more holding it together.

She said what if it splits open?

I said then I'll have a smile on both sides of my eyes!

She wasn't amused. Said it doesn't bode well for my behavior after the back operation that's scheduled right shortly.
