So now the Midwest is in a young drought ? Texas is going into 7 years drought with no rain,pastures burnt up and have been for years, stock tanks are all dry,this part of the country is littered with these small hill side tanks.
most of them are built like this one on the side of a hill, this one is at the lower end of a flat topped hill that has 30 acres teraced to catch rain and runoff, has'nt been any water in this tank for years.
No one around here can remember it ever going dry before we had this weather pattern change, I sure hope folks North dont get what we got, bout the only ranchin done around here is front porch ranchin, I did get energetic last week and plowed some of my weed fields, been a long since they seen seed......................good luck
