took off Friday afternoon went down Cokeville a few cows on the hay fields there, then on to Opal then Shute Creek road saw a semi west of the gas plant a big band of ewes running and getting all around and under it that it had to stop and water them there. They were baling some hay at Farson, saw some more along the Platte being baled south of Casper. Saw a few sheep around Gillette but no cows, had breakfast at Donna's in Moorcroft. Passed a few loads of big round bales on way into Hullett, stop and dropped off a gift. Went on up to Belle Fourche up to Alzada then back to Hullett and went to one big wedding reception and dance in a Hugh barn below Devils Tower. Back tracked to Gillette then over to Buffalo over the Big Horns saw some hay being baled in Ten Sleep some at Worland and more around Riverton. Still grass on top of Towagtee pass but there are no more cows up there as the permits have been bought out because of the Grizzlies. It was a very Smokey drive the rest of the way home thru the Hole and Snake River canyon. Listen to two unabridged books on the trip one was 12 hours long the other 6 took up most of the 1,200 + miles.Today we had a few rain showers to get that Idaho smoke out of the air.

Pictures? Sounds like a fun trip...too bad you were alone. We left sat morning, drove 5 hours to Ellensburg, spent 3 hours at a Celebration of Life for a friend, drove 5 hours home (did stop in Pendleton for a steak), got home at 10:30.
