That's a big bird there.Certainly would concern me to have them hanging out next to my calves

They're not much of a concern. They are mostly scavengers and like to eat afterbirth. Now golden eagles are another story! People call them flying coyotes.

Roughly---Twice the size.....

Great shots. Love the babies. One looks like she is peeking at you.

A female bald eagle's body length varies from 35 to 37 inches; with a wingspan of 79 to 90 inches. The smaller male bald eagle has a body length of 30 to 34 inches; with a wingspan ranging from 72 to 85 inches. Their average weight is ten to fourteen pounds. Northern birds are significantly larger than their southern relatives.
Golden eagles are larger than bald eagles in average height and wingspan, but there isn't much difference in average weight. Length: 30-38 inches. Wingspan: 7-7.5 feet. Weight: 6-13 lb.

Nice looking stock, pretty pictures of a magnificent bird to see.

Thanks MsSage for pointing out the real size difference.

Great pics Nicky. We seen a lot of bald Eagles when we were in Tofino last yr,I though they were a big enough bird, not being a bird lover I hope I don't ever run into the Golden Eagle.

Herf Calves...cutest calves on earth.... :)

They've ( Fish & Feathers) brought the eagles back here.

Both the Golden and Bald...so far no problems.
