We have had an almost ideal summer until last week. It is impossible to get second cut hay dry and now even dry enough to cut it. very glad to have cows around as grain farmers pretty bummed out with flat sprouting crops. good news is pasture are still lush and cows as well as calves really packing on the pounds. Hopefully we have an open fall to graze some lodged crop aftermath as well as some grass I have not touched this year.
My solar system has not skipped a beat this year and this grass is really holding up. I really like the EXAR Upshot calf to the left. he will make a nice hfr bull.
This is a final Answer bull calf also destined as a hfr bull, but with some great early growth. It will have to be a great calf to make the bull pen this year with calf prices the way they are.
A Pioneer bull with some grow to him there is two shots of alliance 6595 in him. I really get excited this time of year as I get to see what has worked, and what has not and start planning for the upcoming marketing season
